Kingdom Builders

The Kingdom Builders are a group of men and women who use construction and other skills to help people in our local community, around Virginia, across the United States and even in foreign countries.

Local Kingdom Builders

One of the many ramps built locally by the Kingdom  Builders team.

This group uses construction skills to build handicap ramps for people in our community.  Individuals or social services may make a request for a person needing a ramp by calling the LBA Office at (434) 316-8382 or submit a request online via our Kingdom Builders Request Form.  There is no charge for labor on these projects, however, we will work with individuals to see if they are  able to afford the cost of materials for the job. The Kingdom Builders have built well over 100 ramps in the Lynchburg area.

Countrywide Kingdom Builders

This ministry includes disaster relief work or mission trips within the United States. The Kingdom Builders have a disaster relief trailer filled with tools to help in times of disaster. This group has been to Florida twice to help with relief after hurricanes and to  Mississippi and Louisiana six times to help with the rebuilding after hurricane Katrina.  During the past few years, this group has taken a trip to help victims of Hurricane Sandy, and four mission trips to Nickelsville, Virginia, in the heart of Appalachia to help repair homes, conduct Backyard Bible Clubs, and work with the local food pantry ministry, under the leadership of Tony and Jan Johnson, of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. The KGB Band (Kingdom of God Band) gives free concerts in nursing homes, churches, and other locations, allowing opportunities to give praise and hear God’s Word and accept Christ. Dates and destination for the 2018 LBA Missions Trip are June 17-June 23rd to Wise Virginia & Big Stone Gap Virginia.

Worldwide Kingdom Builders

The group has been to Brazil three times to help with the construction of churches in the state of Parana, in the southern part of Brazil.  Churches were built in Palmital, Cascavel and Maringa.
